Dovecotes Arts Centre is a new initiative which has been launched with the kind support of the national children’s charity KidsOut UK and a grant from the Big Lottery Fund. This funding has allowed us to transform a community centre on the Dovecotes estate into a modern and vibrant space which allows young people access to a range of multimedia projects focussing on exciting activities such as film-making, music and animation amongst others.

Dovecotes Arts Centre has the ability to develop, co-ordinate and implement a wide range of creative projects that deliver positive outcomes for young people. Working with a variety of groups and organisations the Centre offers bespoke projects for a specific response or need, whilst also running longer-term accredited courses that have educational and learning benefits for its participants.
